What Our Promise Actually Means
If the work we did isn’t right, you call us, we come back, and we fix it – no charge, no argument, no paperwork you have to hunt down. That’s the whole promise, and it holds for a full year from the date we closed the job.
The 365-Day Done Right Promise is written on the guarantee document you receive before our technician leaves your property. You don’t have to remember a contract number or prove anything. You tell us what’s wrong, we verify the original work order, and we schedule the return visit. The burden of that process sits with us, not with you.
This is the Garrison Standard – the set of operating rules that every Ridley Locksmith & Security location agrees to before the first call is ever answered. Ridley has been a Garrison Partners company since 2007. The family stands behind the brand, and the brand stands behind the crew that knocked on your door. That chain of accountability is the reason the guarantee is a document, not a handshake.
Why We Answer Fast, Everywhere
A one-truck shop can promise quick response right up until the truck is already on another job across town. A national brand operating under a single standard can move differently. Ridley has local crews – not call-center dispatchers routing strangers – in markets across two states, and each crew runs a stocked vehicle so a technician doesn’t have to leave your property to find a part.
When you call (956) 275-7388, a live person picks up. Every time. Day or night, weekend or holiday. That person has access to the dispatch schedule and can tell you honestly how fast a technician can reach you – not a scripted promise that falls apart at 11 p.m.
On an emergency, we aim to have a technician on your property within four hours. Most non-emergency repairs are booked the same day or the next. We don’t manufacture urgency and we don’t pad response windows to look good by arriving early. The window we give is the window we intend to hit, because showing up inside the time we promised is the first line of the Garrison Code.
How We Make It Right
You Tell Us
Call (956) 275-7388 and describe what isn’t working. You don’t need the original invoice in hand, and there’s no online form you have to fill out first. The person who answers the phone pulls up the job record on their end. That’s the start of the process, and it takes about two minutes.
We Come Back Out
We schedule a return visit that works for your calendar. There’s no fee for the visit, no service charge added at the door, and no fine print that reclassifies the original repair as something different. If the failure is inside the guarantee window, the return trip is covered – full stop.
We Fix It
The technician who returns does the work correctly and to the same standard as the original job – same hardware brands, same method, same clean site when they leave. If a part needs to be replaced, we use a part that meets the spec the job called for. We don’t swap in cheaper hardware to close the return visit faster.
You Sign Off
When the repair is complete, we walk you through what was done. You confirm it’s right before we close the call. If it still isn’t right, we don’t consider the job finished. The guarantee resets on the corrected work, and the written record updates to reflect that.
What Stands Behind the Promise
A guarantee is only as solid as the people and systems behind it. Here’s what Ridley actually has in place.
Every technician we dispatch has passed a background check and arrives in a uniform. No unmarked vans, no subcontractors pulled from a third-party pool. The person at your door is a Ridley technician, accountable to Ridley and to the Garrison Standard.
Before any work starts, the price is in writing. Not a ballpark, not an estimate that adjusts once the technician is inside – a written figure that becomes the number on your invoice. We work job-by-job off a free written estimate. No hourly rates, no subscriptions, nothing to sign up for.
Our technicians are trained on the full range of hardware a homeowner or business is likely to have: everyday residential brands like Schlage, Kwikset, Yale, and Baldwin, and high-security lines including Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, Abloy, and Sargent. That range matters because a guarantee on work done with the wrong technique on the wrong hardware isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.
Ask Us to Prove It
Call (956) 275-7388 – a live person answers around the clock. Or book through our website. Either way, the written price comes before any work begins, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise is on every job automatically. Full terms are on our Terms page.
